Come out to the Entrepreneurship Center for the third Alumni Founders Series of the semester Thursday, October 17th from 5:30-7pm! Hear from alum Beth Comstock, former Vice Chair of General Electric. Learn about her career thus far, where she is now, and her new book entitled Imagine It Forward: Courage, Creativity, and the Power of Change. Free food and refreshments provided. More background on Beth Comstock:

Beth Comstock graduated from William & Mary in 1982 with a degree in Biology. Beginning her career at NBC News as SVP of Corporate Communications, she climbed the corporate ladder, going from President of Integrated Media at NBC, where she oversaw the founding of Hulu, to GE’s Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer. Eventually, she became the Vice-Chair of GE, NBC’s parent company, in 2015. She operated GE Business Innovations a division that develops new businesses, markets, and service models and encourages the inventive culture found at GE.

Named one of “The World’s Most Powerful Women” by Forbes in both 2015 and 2016, Comstock recently authored her first book “Imagine It Forward” which encourages courage and creativity in the face of change. It is currently available.
