Last year, CareerQuest 2010 was attended by over 60 employers and 1,000 graduate-level business candidates, and is the largest MBA-specific career fair in the mid-Atlantic region. It is sponsored by the following top area MBA programs:
* American University
* College of William & Mary
* Drexel University
* George Mason University
* George Washington University
* Georgetown University
* Johns Hopkins University
* University of Maryland, College Park
* University of Notre Dame
* Virginia Commonwealth University
* Wake Forest University
This career fair is optional, and may be ideal for those whose interests are less aligned with the finance opportunities provided by DoG Street to Wall Street.
CareerQuest is only open to master's level business students and alumni.
Registration is now open. Both students and employers should follow the link below.
* Students must use the Token Password - HireMeToday - for initial access along with their school email address. The day of the fair, students must show their school ID at sign-in booths.
* Employers should follow the "Register Now" link in the top-right of the landing page to their registration.
Student transportation will be provided by CareerPREP (therefore, students may not use their CareerTrek Stipends for this event). Students planning to take the bus should {{https://mba-wm-csm.symplicity.com/students/index.php/pid990426?,RSVP on MASONlink}}. In order for us to submit our final transportation numbers to the bus company, you must RSVP by TONIGHT, September 19th, at midnight.
If you plan on getting to D.C. on your own, you may wish to consider that another event will also be taking place on the Maryland Campus that day and parking will be scarce. If you choose to drive yourself anyway, consider the following options:
* Use a metered visitor space
* Stadium Drive Garage - Located adjacent to Byrd Stadium, the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center and the Riggs Alumni Center. The hours of operation, as a digital pay station facility, are 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. daily. This location is also used for prepay visitor parking on evenings and weekends, as necessary, for Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center events. Current rates at this facility are $3 per hour, with a $15 per day maximum and a $5 per day maximum on Saturday and Sunday.
* Union Lane Garage - Located between the Adele H. Stamp Student Union Center for Campus Life and Cole Field House. Hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. daily. Current rates at this facility are $3 per hour, with a $15 per day maximum and a $5 per day maximum on Saturday and Sunday.
