William & Mary's Mason School of Business is launching a new series of alumni programs that examine various industries, businesses, sectors, and disciplines that are significant to Richmond and the city's long term growth and prosperity.
Each program in the series will showcase a particular business sector, bringing your local leaders to
discuss the sector's unique business challenges and opportunities, and offering a chance to learn and
simply have fun. The first program in this series examines the impact of the ARTS in Richmond.
W&M's Mason School of Business is proud to bring you two distinguished speakers:
Alex Nyerges, Director of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
Aaron H. De Groft, Ph.D., B.A. ’88, Director & CEO, Muscarelle Museum of Art, College of William & Mary
Mr. Nyerges and Dr. De Groft will discuss the business challenges of running a museum and the
impact that the arts and museums have on the community, local businesses, jobs, and overall area
lifting. After the discussion, there will be ample time to visit and connect with fellow Tribe alumni.
