Do you love sporting facial hair? Have you ever wondered what your co-worker or classmate might look like with mutton chops or a Fu Manchu? Do you want to participate in a charitable event? If any of these questions piqued your interest, this event is for you. Starting November first, or earlier if you're so inclined, we invite you to embrace No Shave November. Then, on November 20, you will have the opportunity to auction off your facial hair. The winning bidder will get to choose a style of beard and/or mustache for you to wear for one week. Don't worry about upsetting mom - you'll be able to get a clean shave just in time for Thanksgiving. All proceeds from this event go to the Movember Foundation which raises funds to support prostate and testicular cancer research initiatives in partnership with the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the LIVESTRONG Foundation.
