Reputational Risk in the Digital Age: The New Realities in Crisis Communications Management
A Raymond A. Mason School of Business Alumni Webinar
Presented by:
Daniel Webber ?02, Executive Vice President, Edelman
June 21, 2016
Noon EDT
Responding to government and public scrutiny is nothing new. But social media have exponentially amplified the potential scale and, consequently, the risk to institutional reputation and profit.
Given the magnitude, variety, and lifecycle of these risks, traditional responses no longer suffice.
Today, the companies best-equipped for such crises are those who can develop and apply a multi-faceted strategy and tactics that not only protect their brand, but enhance it. In this session we will:
-Explore the fluid operating realities of digital and social media and their impact
-Apply best-practice approaches to navigating critical issues
-Examine the "do's and do not's" for being prepared and for developing a measured response that utilizes multiple online and digital channels
This webinar is offered to all W&M alumni with our compliments.
