The end of Thanksgiving seasons marks the start of the holiday season! Winters in the part of Germany where I am from are unfortunately not like in the movies (no snow, it’s not really cold, it’s mostly cloudy and it’s dark outside at 4.30 in the afternoon), so we resort to baking Plätzchen. There is a wide variety of holiday biscuits in the German speaking world and we’re baking a selection of a couple based on what Uli can find at food lion.
