Please join us for a lecture by Professor Aaron Skabelund (Brigham Young University) entitled "Can the Subaltern Bark?: Dogs, Japan, and the Making of the Modern Imperial World."
Prof. Skabelund is a historian of modern Japan. His book, "Empire of Dogs: Canines, Japan, and the Making of the Modern Imperial World" was published in 2011 by Cornell University Press.
The talk will be on November 1 (Thursday), 4PM, at Blow 332. The event is open to the public.
