Dr. Roddick will present current practices of temporal and spatial boundary-making in the Lake Titicaca Basin region. He will present his case study of Late Formative communities on the Taraco Peninsula and discuss of his current research on established potting communities in the Lake Titicaca Basin.

About the Speaker

Dr. Roddick is an Assistant Professor in the Anthropology Department and the Director of the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Research into Archaeological Ceramics at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. He has conducted archaeological fieldwork in Canada, Belize and Peru.
