Join Amnesty International and New Forest WM this Thursday, October 27th, at 8pm in Washington 306 to view a documentary about the indigenous Waorani population of Ecuador entitled Nomads of the Rainforest (1984, 60 min.). The film discusses the lifestyle of this indigenous culture that has remained largely untouched by Western influences, and is currently at the center of the debate about environmental damage caused by oil drilling in Ecuador. Free pasta will be served and all are welcome!
