Join us for a special screening with anthropologist, filmmaker, and author Sam Low of his award-winning documentary The Navigators: Pathfinders of the Pacific. More than 1,000 years ago, the scattered islands of Polynesia were settled by an ancient seafaring people. This fascinating documentary tells the story of where these settlers came from and how they may have navigated without charts or instruments across ten million square miles of empty sea. A book signing of Low's book Hawaiki Rising will immediately follow the event, with books available for purchase. No charge; registration required due to limited space.
