[PAST EVENT] Rwanda Study Abroad Information Session
Join us for an information session to learn about a new study-abroad offering in Rwanda, Africa:
In May 2019, the School of Education will offer a three-week study abroad opportunity in Rwanda focused on community well-being and peace education.
We will immerse ourselves in Rwanda's incredible culture while learning about the 1994 genocide, meeting survivors, and discussing the process of recovery. We will explore questions like: How does genocide happen? What are the warning signs? How can we find forgiveness after tragedy? How do we develop hope? And most importantly, how do we do our part to stop genocide and tragic violence from happening again?
Join us on this life-changing journey and earn 7 credits. Open to any William & Mary undergraduate or graduate student.
