Join Ying Liu, Associate Director of Global Partnerships at the Reves Center, and Michael Clay, Assistant Director for Fellowships in the Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs, for a presentation on fellowship opportunities available to W&M students for studying, working, or learning a language abroad.
Dr. Liu will discuss two internal fellowships: the Freeman Fellowship, which funds internships in Asia for up to 24 undergraduates, and the La Plata Human Rights Summer Fellowship, which supports travel to Argentina to work on human rights issues.
Michael will present on several external fellowships, including the Boren Awards and Critical Language Scholarship for studying languages of critical need abroad, the Payne, Pickering, and Rangel Awards for graduate study and aspiring Foreign Service Officers, and the Fulbright U.S. Student Program for graduating seniors to teach, research, or attend graduate school internationally.
