Part 2: Tour of the School of Marine Science

The Virginia Institute of Marine Science is one of the largest marine research and education centers in the United States. Its main campus in Gloucester Point, Virginia is located along the York River and offers immediate access to the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The VIMS campus provides students with outstanding facilities, state-of-the-art equipment, and a fleet of coastal and estuarine research vessels, in addition to the numerous scenic study spaces and areas for the graduate community to gather together. During this session, current VIMS students will walk you through their favorite areas on campus as they explain how those spaces strengthen the graduate experience. Join us as we explore all that VIMS has to offer. Make sure to bring your questions for our students and graduate admissions staff.

This program is designed for individuals interested in pursuing a graduate degree in marine science. Registration is required.

Please plan to join us for the last session in this series on November 18. (Part 1 took place on November 3.) You must register for each session separately. Find additional sessions here.
