Dr. Debbie Steinberg, Professor of Marine Science at VIMS, leads a team of scientists that study and document long-term changes to the Antarctic ecosystem. During this After Hours livestream, Dr. Steinberg will provide an overview of the long-term research project and explain how changes in zooplankton communities, the focus of her work in Antarctica, may have a ripple effect throughout Antarctica's food web and our ocean's nutrient cycle. Please join us as we learn about VIMS’ work in this vital ecosystem.
This lecture will be live streamed. Registration is required due to limited space. After Hours lectures begin at 7:00 PM and are designed for an adult audience but all ages are invited to watch.
