[PAST EVENT] Sustainable Farm Bike Ride

Enjoy the beautiful fall weather with a bike ride and work day at KelRae Farms, a local, family-owned organic farm in Toano, VA. KelRae Farms is partners with WM Dining Services to provide students with fresh, local produce, and you can help grow it! Vans will transport riders and bikes to the starting point at Little Creek Reservoir Park. From there, we will bike the remaining five miles to the farm where we'll eat lunch and spend a couple hours planting, harvesting and weeding before we bike back to the vans. Pack a bag lunch to eat when we get there to fuel up for the work day. Vans will have coolers to transport lunches and anything perishable . Register here: forms.wm.edu/29014. Sign up by noon on Thursday, October 13th if you want to borrow a bike. Helmets are required and clothes you can get dirty are encouraged!
