Ease into a new experience, clear out the cobwebs (fascia) and join us for a slow paced yin yoga class. Yin practice targets the deeper connective tissue with the aim of increasing circulation and improving overall flexibility. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes to allow time to settle into deep stretches for meditative practice. This is a great practice for beginners and athletes as it aims at cultivating inner awareness. This class will be led by Shanti Garudasana Yoga School's 300-hour Yoga Teachers-in-Training. These teachers already have their 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) credential and have teaching experience. Class open to all experience levels. Free for all W&M students, faculty & staff.
