Join Professors Chris Nemacheck (Government), Jenny Putzi (English/GSWS), and Claire McKinney (Government/GSWS) for an informal conversation about the confirmation hearings of Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh. What do the hearings tell us about contemporary politics? How should we think about the displays of masculinity, femininity, and gender in the proceedings? How do we situate these hearings in the midst of national conversations about sexual assault, sexual harassment, and the future of #MeToo?

Refreshments will be served.
