- Open to the public
- Registration/RSVP
The first After Hours lecture of 2021 will feature VIMS scientists Lisa Kellogg and Eric Hilton discussing development of the RecFish app, winner of VIMS Innovation Fund awards in 2019 and 2020. RecFish will aid in fisheries management by providing fish population data gathered by anglers. Get an insider's look at how this tool can help in collecting important information about Chesapeake Bay fishes living in structured habitats, which are often missed in scientific sampling.
Registration is required for access to this online webinar. After Hours lectures are designed for an adult audience, but all ages are welcome to watch. Attendees will be able to ask questions via the Zoom chat feature during a Q&A session after the presentation.
