SPEAKER'S BIO:
H. Thomas Watkins has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Human Genome Sciences, Inc. and as a member of its Board of Directors from 2005 until August 2012, when Human Genome Sciences, Inc. was acquired by GlaxoSmithKline. Prior to his tenure at Human Genome Sciences, Inc., Mr. Watkins served as President of TAP Pharmaceutical Products, Inc. Mr. Watkins previously held a series of executive positions over the course of nearly twenty years with Abbott Laboratories. Mr. Watkins also serves on the Board of Directors of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), and has served as Chair of the BIO Board of Directors since June, 2011. He holds a B.B.A. from the College of William and Mary and an M.B.A from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
EVENT DETAILS:
The speaker would share his experiences for 40 minutes. A 20-minute Q&A period would follow. Light refreshments would be served.

Parking passes for the garage will be emailed to registered guests. The garage is located on Ukrop Way just past the Business School on left.
