The W&M US-Japan Baseball Diplomacy Project is proud to host a screening of Koshien: Japan’s Field of Dreams, a documentary film about the high school baseball tournament in Japan. The director, Ema Ryan Yamazaki, will participate via Zoom to introduce the film and answer your questions afterwards. The “Koshien” tournament is arguably the most popular sporting event in Japan (comparable to the March Madness basketball tournament in the US). Come join us to learn more about this amazing sporting event! The event will be followed by the "150 Years of US-Japan Baseball Diplomacy" symposium, which will be held at the Commonwealth Auditorium starting noon on Friday, October 27.
