We're surrounded by examples of healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors, particularly in the media. You may see forms of violence being normalized or even glamorized, which can condition us to respond in harmful ways. Unlearning myths and learning how to be survivor-centered, intersectional, and trauma-informed takes practice; practicing both new language and training our brain to think beyond what we were socialized to believe. Led by the Wellness Ambassadors, Someone You Know, and Candice Fox, Assistant Director of the Office of Health Promotion.
