[PAST EVENT] How To Help: Understanding Suicide Concerns at W&M

Joey Thomas, a Graduate Assistant for the suicide prevention grant given to W&M, will be facilitating a program and discussion for Faculty and Staff on how to better understand the suicide concerns on campus and how to best help those undergoing a difficult time and/or identify someone suffering from mental health issues.
His program intends to help faculty learn new information about suicide in, learn new skills on how to help those struggling with mental illness and suicidal tendencies, as well as help people feel more confident to stop the stigma and start the conversation on suicide awareness and risk reduction on campus and within our community.
Thursday, Oct. 2nd @ 12pm in York Room (Sadler Center)
