[PAST EVENT] Roundtable on Gender-neutral Language in the Foreign Language Classroom
Access & Features
- Open to the public
The Modern Languages & Literatures department is hosting a gender-neutral language roundtable discussion on Friday, April 16 from 2:00-3:00PM. The meeting will be hosted remotely via Zoom (meeting ID: 947 0751 2094, Link: https://cwm.zoom.us/s/94707512094). Some of the topics to be discussed at this event include gender-neutral pronouns, incorporating language about underrepresented minorities in the classroom, and making class content more inclusive. We would love to see a wide range of students attend this event to get a mixture of diverse perspectives and opinions on these issues. Please join us for an informal conversation with peers and instructors!
If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please feel free to contact cametzger, Celia Metzger, dsrobinson01, DeJah Robinson, and jmgully, Jennifer Gully.
