Global Brigades is the world?s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Since 2004, Global Brigades has mobilized tens of thousands of university students and professionals through skill-based programs that work in partnership with community members to improve quality of life in under resourced regions while respecting local culture.

We will be travelling to Honduras over spring break to work with community health workers in setting up a mobile free health clinic in a community. On the trip, volunteers will assist in patient intake and triage, observing physician consults (medical and dental), packing medications under the observation of a trained pharmacist, and aiding in the data informatics that the organization collects.

Our brigade follows the ethical guidelines put out by the AAMC and ADA for pre- medical students who wish to volunteer abroad. Global Brigades aims to work towards meeting the goals set forth by the UN?s Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
