In 1619, three cultures, Native American, African, and European, came together in Virginia planting the seeds of the United States, a nation built on inequality from the beginning. Today, these cultures, along with many others, are still striving to learn how to live, work, and thrive together. Join the Office of Diversity & Inclusion as we welcome Dr. Karen Fields and Dr. Barbara Fields, authors of Racecraft: The Soul of Inequality in American Life, Monday, September 23rd at 7 pm in Miller Hall, Brinkley Commons for an insightful presentation and conversation on moving forward together. This program is a part of the 400th Anniversary Commemoration.
Sponsored by the Office of Diversity & Inclusion.
