Love to teach and want to explore career options beyond 4-year colleges and universities? The Cohen Career Center is hosting a panel of William & Mary Arts & Sciences Ph.D.s who have pursued careers in K-12 and museum education to help answer all the questions you may have! The panelists will discuss what they do in their jobs on a daily basis, how they got where they are, and what current graduate students can expect on the job market. Additionally, the Career Center will provide information about preparing for jobs in education, and resources to further explore teaching career options.

Pizza and soda will also be provided!

KELLY HERBST (Physics Ph.D.) is the Astronomy Curator at the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News, Virginia.

DAVID KIDD (American Studies Ph.D.) is the English Department Chair of the Upper School at Norfolk Academy, an independent school for grades 1-12 in Norfolk, Virginia.

RENEE KINGAN (American Studies Ph.D. Candidate) teaches 8th, 9th, and 11th grade Literary Arts at the York County School of the Arts in Williamsburg, Virginia.
