Mandatory A&S New Graduate Student Orientation
ALL new/incoming Arts & Sciences graduate students are required to attend both the New Student Orientation (10am Registration, 10:30am-noon) and the afternoon training from noon-1:35 pm (up to the start of the breakout sessions specific to Teaching Assistants and Teaching Fellows). Lunch will be provided for all attendees. All incoming students must attend the first part of the afternoon session to ensure all students receive an overview of Title IX policies and procedures including the Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation Policy and the Policy on Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking. Those students who will be TA/TFs for Fall 2019 and/or Spring 2020 also will be REQUIRED to attend the breakout sessions for their area/unit from 1:45-4:45 pm.
