Professor Little specializes in the history of women, gender, and sexuality. She is the author of Abraham in Arms: War and Gender in Colonial New England (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2007) and The Many Captivities of Esther Wheelwright (Yale University Press, 2016).
She has held fellowships at the Newberry Library, the Huntington Library, and the Massachusetts Historical Society.
Professor Little's lecture in honor of Mary Maples Dunn and 100 Years of Women at W&M, entitled ?Saints and Sisters Reconsidered: Centering Catholic Women?s History in Early America,? is scheduled for 3:00 on Saturday, November 3, in Blow 201.
This lecture is free and open to the public and a reception will follow immediately afterward.
