Please join De Vecino a Vecino, W&M Law's Immigration Law and Service Organization, on November 1st for our immigration reform symposium held at the Law School building. There will be attorneys, professors, a judge, a politician, chief counsel from the Department of Homeland Security, and our keynote who is the first undocumented attorney in our nation--Sergio Garcia, to provide a complete picture on the current state of immigration and how it might be effected by reform. Topics to discuss will include: border security and enforcement, the economy, pathway to legalization, changes in American values in the family-based system, and workplace demands in the employment-based system.
