Sexuality and Spirituality - It's a a Match Made in Heaven: A Thrive Event
Too often people assume that sexuality and spirituality exist in opposition to one another, yet nothing could be further from the truth. Sacred texts from all faith traditions celebrate sexuality as a good gift from a loving God. Al Vernacchio has degrees in both Theology and human sexuality education. His own, personal, journey is all about bringing those two essential realities into communion in his own life. Join Al for a conversation about his journey to reconcile the sacred and the spiritual, and how both can contribute to meaningful, satisfying, and stimulating interactions and relationships.
Al Vernacchio is a nationally recognized human sexuality educator with over 20 years of experience under his belt. He is a TED lecturer as well as the subject of a 2011 New York Times Magazine cover story. His book "For Goodness Sex" and his blog of the same name can be found online. William & Mary Student Assembly is proud to welcome him to our campus!
