The Mason School of Business Inclusive Excellence Community of Practice is offering an opportunity to MSOB employees to reflect on how our work contributes to something bigger than ourselves. As part of AACSB accreditation, business schools must demonstrate commitment to positive societal impact. This expectation extends to all internal stakeholders as well. In this Societal Impact Statement workshop, we will discuss the role of societal impact in business education and provide an opportunity to draft statements articulating how your work and day-to-day duties align with social impact goals. Participants are asked to review the UN Sustainable Development Goals, identifying 1-2 SDGs that align with professional duties or interests before the workshop.
