- Give math and science majors a chance to "test the waters" and explore teaching as a potential career through summer internships and/or early experiences as tutors and mentors.
- Offer generous financial support in the form of a $10,000 scholarship to undergraduate and graduate students and/or a paid summer internship ($450/week for up to 8 weeks)
- Provide special training and field experience to prepare participants for teaching math and science in a high-need school.
- Assist graduates in securing a teaching position and provide continued professional support during the early teaching years.
