Professor Anthony Anemone (The New School)
Illustrated talk about the life, works, and tragic death of Daniil Kharms (1905-1942), one of the founding members of the Association for Real Art (OBERIU). The talk will be accompanied by readings from the newly published "I am a phenomenon quite out of the ordinary" The Notebooks, DIaries and Letters of Daniil Kharms, translated by Anthony Anemone and Peter Scotto. Followed by a book signing.
