Access & Features
- Open to the public
The John Quincy Adams Society (JQAS), a foreign policy society, is inviting Doug Bandow of CATO Institute to speak about US-China political and economic ties on October 16th, 6:30-7:30PM, in Ewell Hall 107. The event covers the politics and economics behind US-China ties.
Summary: Semiconductors. Dual-use technology. Forced Labor. Crises lead the headlines of US-China relations, but what is the state of US-China ties overall? How much has it changed from the 2000s and 2010s, and much could it change? How could China's increasing oppression and troubles at home and the US' resolve abroad influence one of the largest trading bilateral relationships in the world? And how could US-China ties affect the average American? JQAS invites Doug Bandow, of CATO Institute, to discuss US-China ties.
