[PAST EVENT] Timothy Greenwood lecture on Vernacular Legal Culture in Medieval Armenia

Join us for a lecture by Professor Timothy Greenwood of Scotland's University of St Andrews, who will speak on "Vernacular Legal Culture in Medieval Armenia: Real Estate, Endowment, and Protection on the Margins of Empire" Wednesday, February 25, from 2-3:20 pm in Washington 201.
Professor Greenwood focuses on late antique and medieval Armenia in his research, exploring how Armenia engaged with and reflected the political, cultural, and intellectual traditions of the wider medieval Middle East. He has taught a wide variety of courses on ancient, medieval, and Middle Eastern history. His visit is sponsored by the William & Mary-St Andrews Joint Degree Programme in History.
