Distraction is natural.
The brain gets tired, bored, and just plain overloaded. There are methods we can use to adjust and pivot ourselves or our immediate circumstances for relief and resetting.
This Virtual FitWell Pop-Up is open to all students, faculty, and staff. FitWell Membership is not required to join. Register online at wellness.wm.edu by searching "Distraction" in the top search bar.
This session is led by Martha Rouleau, Adjunct Lecturer. Martha holds a Qualified Teacher Status in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and is a 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher trained in Compassionate Integrity, Mindful Communication, and Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness.
