Did you know that 63% of people feel uncomfortable making financial decisions? Or that 39% of millennials worry about their financial futures at least once a week? Are you graduating in May and wondering the basics of personal finances? Please join us each Wednesday in April at the Mason School of Business where experts in finance will discuss the basics of personal budgeting, credit, and investment.

Please join the Class of 2017 and Professor James Haltiner as he discusses the topic of investing. This seminar will cover the power of compounding, stocks vs. bonds, vs. cash, recent historical data on returns and their volatility, portfolios and the importance of diversification, active vs passive investing, along with some advice. This advice will be on how to think about investing rather than on specific investments to make.
