Join the Schroeder Center for Health Policy for a panel event, "Health Starts at the Kitchen Table: Housing, Food & Water Policy," on Thursday, February 29 from 4:00-5:15 PM, followed by a reception, in the Grimsley Boardroom (Blow 201) featuring three experts: W&M alum Randy Rosso ‘95, MPP ‘99, Senior Consultant at the Lewin Group & Founder of The Food Data Nerd; W&M alum Tom Okuda Fitzpatrick ‘04, JD ‘10, Executive Director of Housing Opportunities Made Equal (HOME) of VA; and Sarah Bedard Holland, Chief Executive Officer of Virginia Health Catalyst. The panelists will discuss social determinants of health and the ways that public policies not directly related to healthcare, specifically food, housing, and water policy, can shape population health. Light refreshments to follow.
