Interested in Human Rights? This is a perfect opportunity for you!

Our W&M program in La Plata offers a unique opportunity for a service learning internship with an Argentine NGO that focuses on human rights. Take classes at the Comision Provincial por la Memoria and the Universidad Nacional de la Plata. Live with Argentine host families. Explore the consequences of the policies and practices of the last Argentine dictatorship. There may be opportunities for you to do archival work that may have subcontinental impact, help people change the life of the incarcerated, compare and translate legislation and research on Human rights, see art museums as places of political dissent, and much more!
Join us for our info session next Thursday, September 25, 5:15pm @ Washington Hall 315.

Application deadline: October 1
