GWRC’s Virtual Spring Break Writing Retreat, March 14-18, for Graduate Students
Are you working on a writing project and looking for structure and accountability? Do you want to reconnect with your research, draft a professional document, or experiment with a new writing practice? We are here to help! Join the GWRC’s Virtual Spring Break Writing Retreat, March 14-18 (Monday-Friday), for supportive writing accountability to help you achieve your writing goals. Attendees will create and share writing goals, reflect daily on their process and progress, witness and cheer one another on, and evaluate their experience at the end of the retreat for future writing success.
Requirements for participation:
- Attend the Introductory Meeting: Monday, March 14 at 10AM on Zoom
- Post daily goals and self-reflections (by 11AM and 5PM, respectively)
- Comment daily on another writer’s posts
- Commit to writing each day
- Attend a Final Check-Out Meeting: Friday, March 18 at 4PM on Zoom
Optional:
- Daily Zoom check-ins at 10AM
- Daily Zoom check-outs at 4PM
Attendees will be required to attend?the Introductory Meeting on Monday, 3/14 at 10AM, and the Final Check-out on Friday, 3/19 at 4PM.?Attendees will also be required to post daily goals at the beginning of the day and a brief self-reflection at the end of the day. Finally, attendees are required to post at least one comment a day on fellow writer’s goals and/or self-reflection. Daily Zoom check-ins (10AM) and check-outs (4PM)?are highly encouraged?but will remain optional to maximize flexibility.??
