Ellen Stofan '83, NASA's chief scientist, will serve as the keynote speaker.
Along with Stofan, Professor of Government Emeritus Jack Edwards will receive an honorary degree at the ceremony.
W&M Chancellor and former U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates '65 will also take part and offer brief welcoming remarks.
