[PAST EVENT] Fulbright Academic Grant Information Session
In the opening session to our Fulbright Fridays series (this one being the only one on a Thursday), our guest Hakan Seyalioglu '07 will talk about his experience as a Fulbright Scholar studying mathematics in Hungary. After his Fulbright year at the Alfred Renyi Institute for Mathematics in Budapest, Hakan got his Ph.D. in Mathematics at UCLA. He now works at Google, where he has been a Senior Software Engineer for the past five years.
This session is for U.S. citizens who are interested in applying for the Fulbright student award for study or research outside of the U.S. While graduating and rising seniors, graduate students, and recent alumni are eligible to apply in the application cycle that opens this spring, we encourage everyone considering an application (including sophomores and freshmen) to attend this session. It's never too early to start planning, and it will be helpful to hear from someone who has gone through the process--and won the award!
We'll have pizza, so RSVP here by 12 p.m. on 3/16.
The campus pre-application is due April 1, 2017. Click through the link below for more information.
