Reves Hall is William & Mary's own "Global Village," housing international and domestic students with an interest in international affairs.

Reves Hall is designed to foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages students to pursue global scholarship, engage in intellectual debate, develop cross-cultural competence and expand their awareness of the issues that affect our interconnected global community.

Students commit to participating in Reves Hall programs and activities which include:

Reves Hall will offer an exclusive core academic experience for residents through participation in a 1 credit course "The Making of the Global 21st Century," taught by renowned scholar, Dr. Stephen Hanson, Vice Provost for International Affairs. This Fall 2012 course will be required of students selected to live in Reves Hall and the course is only open to Reves Hall residents. It will meet in the Reves Room from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesdays (5-6 times during the semester). This course is a great opportunity to have intimate and serious discussions about global issues and politics.

Trips to meet policymakers in Richmond and Washington, D.C.

Special service learning projects.

Reves Hall Coffee Hour: A speaker series with informal discussions between students, professors and other guest speakers on global affairs.

Cultural and Social Events: International potluck dinners, pumpkin carving party, holiday festivities, etc.

Activities co-sponsored with other groups (e.g., Salsa Night with the Hispanic Cultural Organization, film series with Phi Beta Delta and International Relations Club, etc.)
