A piece of Mr. Tu Xinshi's work

The William & Mary Confucius Institute is excited to host Mr. Tu Xinshi for his lecture, The Beauty of Chinese Calligraphy! Tu Xinshi is a renowned figure in the Rocky Mountains and promotes closer ties between the East and West. He has created many pieces of calligraphy that are in museums in the U.S. and serves as editor-in-chief for the Chinese American Post, a newspaper in the Rocky Mountain region. He has taught Chinese calligraphy in America for many years and has published an art book called The Wisdom and Art of Chinese Calligraphy.

This lecture is free & open to the public. Mr. Tu will give a demonstration of his calligraphy skills as well, and attendees will have a chance to try it out for themselves! It will be held on Monday, April 13th, and Wednesday, April 15th, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Washington Hall Room 317. We hope to see you there!
