We are holding a BIKE initiative interest meeting this Thursday from 7-9 PM in Miller Hall (Business School) 1069. There will be signs pointing the way from the entrance of Miller to help guide you in. Come for food, bicycles, or both!

The BIKE initiative is a group of students, staff, and faculty who seek to create a cycling-friendly William & Mary. We've already installed four fix-it stations around campus, put in new serpentine bike racks, created a Kinesiology introduction to cycling course, and set up for establishing an on-campus bike shop and rental program in the next two years.

There is a lot of work left to do with the Bicycle Initiative. We need volunteers to plan group rides and maintenance clinics, help market and advertise, lead focus group research sessions, investigate signage that can be put around campus, and more. We will go over all of these opportunities at the meeting, so make sure you don't miss it! If you can't make it to the whole meeting, no worries; come out to what you can make!

To RSVP, email me back at [[e|gtmorey]] with the following info:

Name, interest area, whether or not you bike (you don't have to be a cyclist to work with us!), and what your favorite TV show was as a kid.

We are all very excited to meet you all and get started working.
