Join the Mason School of Business as they welcome Walsh Ethics speaker J. Dennis "Denny" Hastert.
Congressman J. Dennis Hastert was elevated to the United States Speaker of the House of Representatives in 1999, when his colleagues honored him by electing him to this position. Serving from January 6, 1999 to January 3, 2007, Congressman Hastert became the longest-serving Republican Speaker of the United States House of Representatives in history, surpassing the record previously held by fellow Illinoisan, Joe Cannon.
Lecture is free and open to the public.
