The CGA invites you to our final Fall 2023 Speaker Series event on Friday December 1st at 1 PM via Zoom. Vanessa Knoppke-Wetzel is the associate director of GreenInfo Network, a nonprofit providing geospatial technology support to public interest groups. She recently served as a Director at Large for the North American Cartographic Information Society (NACIS), where she chaired the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. She will give a brief introduction to the historical relationship between art and cartography, as well as the relationship between technological shifts and cartographic aesthetics. She will share the skills she learned to consistently break down styles in order to create them. Come join us!
