William & Mary has been selected as an Institutional Partner for the 2024 NATO Youth Summit, taking place on May 13, 2024, in Stockholm, Sweden, and Miami, Florida, USA.
In partnership with the Democracy Initiative, William & Mary is hosting an official 2024 NATO Youth Summit Watch Party on Monday, May 13 from 9:00am - 3:00pm at The Hive in Swem Library. There will be discussions about the NATO Youth Summit panels along with insights on the Aspen Institute’s “Better Arguments” framework.
Panels include:
- 9:00am - 12:00pm: NATO’s History, Mission, and Impact, Navigating Polarization, and Sharing Your Voice
- 12:00pm - 1:30pm: Join us for a free catered lunch & conversation on the themes of this year’s summit
- 1:30pm - 3:00pm: Defense & Security, Disinformation, and Climate Change
This event is free and open to the public. Food is provided.
Directions: Enter The Hive through the Conservation Patio door on the side of Swem Library.
