To help our community challenge racism, anti-Semitism, and xenophobia, this event will bring three speakers to campus for a pedagogical workshop (9am-10:30am) and an academic panel (2pm-3:30pm). The goal is to help William & Mary faculty and students better understand Jewish identity in their research, teaching, and activism—for instance, better addressing Jews of color in Judaic Studies courses and better addressing anti-Semitism in critical race courses. Speakers will include Tamara Fish, Sabrina Sojourner, Marla Brettschneider, and Jonathan Branfman. All are welcome.
