Join us for a lecture and workshop with Lama Choufani on Palestinian Tatreez.
The Arabic Studies Program at W&M welcomes scholar and artist Lama Choufani for a lecture and workshop on Palestinian tatreez [embroidery]. If you would like to attend the lecture only from 10:00-11:00am, please register for attendance via Zoom. If you would like to have breakfast, watch the lecture, and stay until 11:30am to learn basic tatreez technique, please register for in-person attendance (spots limited, priority for students enrolled in Arabic or another Arabic-program course).
The RSVP link ensures that those attending the workshop have the necessary embroidery materials.
